I’ve been embracing the Instagram love over the weekend. There are so many beautiful decks, pretty flat lays and suggested spreads. I have tried one or two spreads when I’ve wanted to play about and learn things but tonight I was drawn to Holly Enchanted’s Instagram spread: #EnchantedWeekAhead. It draws 4 cards:
- What to focus on.
- What to embrace.
- What to bring.
- What to leave behind.
This will become a busy week with the children going back to school, but I know that will work out and currently have no questions about that, especially after my son’s reading on Sunday about starting high school. The challenge that faces me, the journey I am on and the outcome I try to visualise myself achieving is working on my intuition and being able to receive and understand the messages that my angels send through. I used my CBD TdM deck for the reading.
Interestingly, as I was shuffling, the Knight of Cups popped out. I acknowledged it but popped it back in. When I’d finished drawing the four cards, I swept up the rest of the deck. When I looked back, there was one card left: the Knight of Cups, so I decided to include it to the right of the spread. I then asked the angels if they had a message from the Oracle of the Angels deck by Mario Duguay. This is what this spread tells me for the week ahead:
Cards

1. What to focus on. 3 of Wands. I need to focus on fnding a way after a period of hesitation, looking for a solution to a dilemma. It is time to move forward. Time for a release of raw energy. I mustn’t be hesitant. Now is the time to be impulsive and use that explosive energy.
2. What to embrace: 3 of Swords. This is another card vibrating with raw energy. I should embrace a breakthrough achieved that is achieved without much difficulty. Pure intentions win the day.
3. What to bring: 8 of swords. I need to remember what I’ve learned about how to protect myself and keep myself safe. I’ve also learned that through meditation my senses are heightened and I’m more receptive to my intuition.
4. What to leave behind: 6 of Cups. To achieve all of this, I need to let go of a long lasting period of stability. That would be my lifelong view of life and my relationship with the world. To embrace all the possibilities, I need to let go of old fears and skepticism.
Additionally, the Knight of Cups fell out. Looking at it, it’s a suit card so it may represent me. It certainly represents someone who is sensitive, in touch with their emotions and those around them, and has an open and sincere heart. An empath. This person is not a complete beginner any more, like the Page, but someone making progress. Not having a place within the spread, I’d put the card beside the other 4 and I now see that he is looking over the week ahead, his cup raised almost like he’s toasting it.
Angel message: Ascension (43). It reminds me to connect with nature. By allowing myself to be drawn in by the wonders of the natural world, I’ll be led to my inner divinity, helping me to tap into the peace and light within me. I should take time for myself this week.
It is worth noting that there were 3 number 3s in that draw. Within tarot, that could signal a raw energy waiting to be harnessed after a period of newness, gathering tools, and listening to my inner voice. As an angel number it means that the Ascended Masters are helping you. It is the number of the Holy Trinity – a Divine number.
So it looks like a good week ahead!
Thank you to Holly Enchanted for the spread.
