This reading was part of a reading exchange. All energy in the world needs to be balanced and so we shouldn’t keep giving of ourselves for nothing. I’m not, certainly at this stage, looking for money for a reading and so to balance the energy, I might exchange with a friend for a slice of cake, or a catch up (which is always good for my soul), or for people too far from me to give something of that simple nature, I exchange a reading for a reading, unless they ask for something else. For this reading, this person lives on the other side of the world and they are thinking of relocating somewhere. They wanted to know if this is the right choice for them. I decided to start with The Psychic Tarot by John Holland.  This is a straightforward deck that gives clear guidance.  When I’d completed that reading, a pulled a single card each from the Veleda Oracle by Betty Skeet, the Oracle of the Angels by Mario Duguay, and Harmony Angel Cards by Angela McGerr.

Question: Is relocating the right choice?

Essence: Solitude (found by adding the three main cards together and then counting through the deck).

It’s interesting to note that, other than her overall card, all of her cards are from the Major Arcana, suggesting that this is something of real significance in her life right now and that each of these cards will tell her something important.  Even then, her overall card is the very first Minor Arcana card so it is very close to the others.

Overall: Prosperity Begins. This card tells us that there are new beginnings that will bring with them prosperity.  There is the laying down of strong roots that are being nurtured to provide fruit.  The tree also shows butterflies – a symbol of transformation and also new beginnings.  With careful planning, there are great opportunities and the promise of financial gain too.  If she focuses on a positive outcome then that is what she will manifest.  Expect the best and there will be a successful result.  Feel it, see it, believe it.  When she focuses on abundance and offers gratitude, prosperity flows.  Overall, I see great success when she puts down and nurtures the roots of something new.  Nurturing it is key though.  She must put all her positive energy into it and then she will find success.

Her first card is Harmony.  It shows a couple in union.  This doesn’t have to mean a union between two people or an affair of the heart.  It is success forged in conjunction with someone or a group of people.  Perhaps work or family.  Harmony tells us that it’s time to make choices.  The bonds that we form with others are a reflection of ourselves and they reflect back to us what we need to see.  She should ask herself if she will learn anything from this move?  Will it work for her highest good?  Can she make it even stronger?  Are those around her encouraging her to achieve all that she can?  She should be sure that if and when she relocates, it will bring her harmony and help her to work towards her highest good.

This is followed by Truth.   Truth sees a woman looking out into the distance.  She is balancing herself with the future she looks towards.  She also looks like she’s wrapped up with her bag on, ready to make a journey.   This card is trying to get the querent’s attention to show her how far she needs to go.  She should look to the past insofar as she can learn from those lessons and this will prepare her to move forward.  It also reminds her that a significant change needs to be made in her life.  She mustn’t make any hasty decisions though, instead taking her time, weighing her decisions with the wisest of judgements because the steps she takes now will have far reaching consequences.  But when she looks within herself, she will find her own truth and that will clearly light her path.

Destiny is her third card.  This shows the same woman in a circle, perhaps pulling in lots of directions.  However, the central woman has a glowing root.  Just like the roots of the tree in the overall card, this woman has a strong root chakra which will always help to keep her grounded.  However, she is covering her heart like she is trying to protect it. This card tells us that good luck and fortune are now with the querent.  A cycle of change, success and growth is imminent, and good karma has come full circle.  She is about to reap what she has sown.  She should open her heart up to accepting this opportunity, allowing her problems to be replaced by solutions and believe in her destiny as she lets go of the past.  Her direction forward is positive.  She must believe that she deserves this and with a confident mindset she will see that what seems impossible can indeed by positive. It is time to act and enjoy the fact that destiny is in her favour.

Essence: Solitude.  This card says stop! Her soul is calling out to her and she needs to hear it.  Perhaps she is being pulled in all directions about her relocation, and feels like she is getting lots of advice from those around her.  This card advises her to step away from that noise and take some time for quiet reflection.  Meditate, reflect and re-evaluate.  The answer is within her – she just needs to give it the space and peace for her to be able to hear it.

Interpretation

The reading shows that her destiny awaits her and it will bring with it good fortune and prosperity.  Be sure that she sees that her relationships – emotional and otherwise – are a true reflection of herself, because when she works with the right people, I see success ahead.  She should take the time to reflect on what she wants and what her inner voice is telling her so that her decision comes from a place of good judgement and her inner truth.  I see her bags packed and she is ready to move forward.  When she does, she should plant and nurture strong roots so that her tree will fruit abundantly.  There is real forward movement coming up for her and I see only positive light around it.

Triumph: This tells me that she has almost reached a goal.  She has made progress that she can be proud of, now she needs to harness her strengths and talents, and there will be a positive result.  Her goals and dreams are in sight and expanding.  She needs to allow herself to branch out with new confidence.  Own it.  If there has been a difficult battle, this is coming to an end.  She is ready to flourish!

Learning: Life always brings us exactly what we need.  Instead of resisting challenges, try to see them as an opportunity for growth and learning.  When you learn lessons from the obstacles in your path, you progress further and can then move on to new experiences.  The querent should see this new challenge as an opportunity for growth.

Verchiel: Angel of Leo.  This card is for issues of courage, leadership and loyalty.  If there is a difficult decision to make, she should invoke Verchiel to be with her to help her to decide what action to take.  He can help her to learn to be comfortable with herself and her own judgement.

In the end, I see that she is facing a period of change but everything says that this will be a good opportunity for her.  She could invoke Verchiel to help her feel more comfortable with her decision, or just take some time to herself, away from any voices that are drowning out her own voice.   But whatever she decides, it is success and positivity that I see in her future.

Update

The querent replied that the reading resonated with her. The relocating takes her away from friends and family but she feels she needs a change and a new adventure. She just has to put the steps in motion now.
