Last night, I had no particular question to ask of myself but I wanted to use my cards as I find it the most effective way of learning them. Just as I thought this, someone posted online looking to do an exchange as they had just received a new deck of cards. I asked for advice about something I’m doing today and received a really lovely reading that was just what was needed. In return, I gave her a reading of her own. Just as she had used her new angel deck, I used my Oracle of the Angels by Mario Duguay.

Question: What might my future love life look like?

I initially shuffled the deck and looked at the bottom for the overall card.  Ascension (43) came out but I thought that couldn’t be right and perhaps I hadn’t cleared the deck so I started again.  Again, the Ascension card came out as overall so I think it was meant to be.

Interpretation

Overall: 43. Ascension

In this card, you are walking purposefully towards the light through which you will move upwards towards your Divine light and higher purpose.  Take the time to reconnect with nature going forward.  This will keep you grounded and help you to find the inner peace that you need right now.  It will also help you to clear your mind and connect with the angel whispers giving their advice.  Take time for yourself right now.  Nothing else is more important.  43 reaffirms that both the angels and the Ascended Masters are helping you right now and you should connect with them – perhaps through nature or meditation.  Be calmed by their reassuring presence which tells you that everything is fine.

Past – or the blockage to the present: 10. Higher Thought

In times of darkness, sometimes all it takes to change things and reach a more positive place are simple things like the company of an old friend or taking a walk in nature.  This can give you a new vantage point over your current situation.  Welcome every opportunity to discover new positive sides.

Present: 19. Application

This card tells me that you have been looking for a greater knowledge and understanding of your present situation for a while.  This is a sign that the time has come to apply the knowledge you have gained to your real life.  There will always be more to learn but for now, walk the walk.  Demonstrate to those that you love how far you’ve come – further than you thought possible.

Future: 28. Angel Whispers

It is easy to be overwhelmed by fear but you have been aware of your higher purpose.  Listen to the whispers of the angels inside your heart.  Perhaps fear has stopped you from listening to that inner voice and it is stopping you from moving forward.  Don’t listen to the fear-based messages that surround us in life.   The angelic number 28 tells you that you and your loved ones are supported by Heaven.

Essence Card: 21. Opportunity

Become aware of the opportunities you have even in this very moment.  Life has endless possibilities and sometimes all we need to see them is taking the time to be in the moment instead of focusing on the future.  Time spent regretting the past or worrying about the future is wasted and stops you seizing the opportunities as they arise. 

Overall Interpretation

Your cards are very positive.  They show that there is real movement forward but that you need to listen to your inner voice and stay in the moment to see the opportunities that are around you.  You are specifically advised to connect with an old friend.  Perhaps that’s someone who could become your future partner, or perhaps they will be the connection to someone new.  Either way, think about anyone who may pop into your head and don’t dismiss the idea of reaching out to say hi. You have the knowledge within you, it’s time to take action.  Take some time grounding yourself in nature too.  But equally, perhaps your inner voice is telling you that you’re okay just now and not to listen to the messages in media that tell you that you need someone else to be happy.  Perhaps your way forward to your higher purpose is as you are just now.  However, I get the overall impression that you will find love again and it may be nearer to you than you think.
